Thought My Blog was over

Well here I am at the Maple Leaf Lounge in Calgary. The flight to Winnipeg is delayed a few hours and my luck has run out on flights. Luckier than those who were flying through Vancouver as hey had their flights canceled. Expect to be in Winnipeg by midnight which I guess is only 10 PST. Aliya has headed off to Edmonton on her only slightly delayed flight. Lounge has Thai Veggie Soup and Cream of Mushroom Soup so I guess not all is bad. Downloaded week 3 and 4 of my MBA and plan to have it done before Week 3 starts up again. I think this course can be done 2 weeks early and I plan to take advantage of the lull in the action.

Friday Morning

Travel down the hill day. Jacob was here last night picking up the grocery loot. We head down to the airport around 8. Breakfast in Kelowna and then a little boxing day Gluten Free shopping anniversary. Mexx is Gluten Free according to Aliya. We have dodged the weather bullet this trip. Leaving before the Toronto Vancouver storms and leaving before the big snow in Kelowna tonight. Well it is off the mountain and back to the Alpine 800 ft...

Torchlight in the fog - David is Santa

The ski school does a torchlight parade down a blue run in the fog. Jacob and David flipped a coin on who would be Santa.. David lost and was Santa... Now David it is HoHOHO not the African American pronunciation. HOSE HOSE HOSE....

Christmas Day

Last night was torch light parade and it was amazing. I have a video post later after download. The highlight was Santa Skiing down at the end. The Santa was none other that David A. Spigelman. Who said Santa can't be Jewish. Fireworks display followed and have a video of that which I will post later. This morning we got up with guest Jacob at 6:45. Coffees on... I made mushroom smoked salmon and cheese omelets. It is gourmet city here. The kids like travelling with an Iron Chef... It is -12 and should be a good ski day. Tomorrow it is off to Winnipeg and hopefully we have slipped through the snow airport fiascos...
